I've always been passionate about creating an environment that is welcoming and encompasses a feeling of belonging, even for those who are just stopping by. I like the idea of tailoring a venue or setting that feels personal, where people can appreciate the detail and efforts that goes into making a place of stay. By engaging with clients and creating personalized experiences, I believe that it will only increase customer satisfaction and retention. Even from an aesthetic standpoint, having a space that is beautifully and carefully curated is what creates its unique identity, allowing memorable experiences for guests involved.I currently hold a position working for The Station Buffalo, an off-campus student housing complex for students enrolled at The University at Buffalo. I am a Community Liaison working closely with the Marketing and Leasing Manager, the Community Manager, in addition to other Community Liaison's on the team. Our main goal is aimed at fostering relationships between the establishment and the local community, including current residents and prospective leads. We recruit prospective leads and put our efforts towards securing lease agreements through several strategic approaches that involve hosting events, target outreach, sales engagement, and maintain relationships through follow-ups; providing updates on available spaces or upcoming events that may interest potential leads. In addition to working at The Station Buffalo, I also hold a position for the Center of Excellence in Writing as a Writing Consultant at the University at Buffalo. Our team at the CEW empowers students, especially nonnative English speakers, by improving their academic writing and understanding of complex research methodologies. By embracing linguistic diversity and applying principles of linguistic justice, we contribute to a more inclusive academic community, aligning with the organization’s dedication to educational success for all.
