• Managing inventory of assets and supplies, sourcing for suppliers and submitting invoices• Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems• Assist pharmacists with the filling of prescriptions to relieve them of routine clerical and technical duties; selects proper drug and places in container in quantity and strength prescribed; applies labels; selects unit doses and places in cassettes for pharmacist review; compounds simple ointments and solutions• Carry out calculations required for common dosage determination, employing both the metric and apothecary systems• Disseminate information by using the telephone, mail services, and email• Constant interaction with customers, vendors, doctors, and nurses• Leads and coordinates special technical projects as assigned, assists in compiling and reporting patient information on allergies or for specialized medications, protocols or programs.• Assist with the training and supervision of new pharmacy technicians
