I held the portfolio for sexual health across Hackney and the City of London and worked to establish the London Sexual Health Team in the City of London, as well as the digital transformation of sexual health services for London. As part of this, I managed local stakeholders across health, children and adult services and education. The early detection service has subsequently helped many young people in East London.City Bridge Trust – I evaluated several organisations that received funding as part of a conflict resolution initiative, which sought to involve young people as positive agents for change, and generate increased understanding and links between different communities of interest. The measures that I implemented boosted volunteering by 30%. Scottish Government and NHS Health Scotland – I helped to organise and facilitate health improvement performance management events, involving stakeholders from local authorities, the NHS and the voluntary sector across Scotland. This work generated performance indicators related to single outcome agreements, and helped partners gain consensus about how they could work in partnership to achieve shared targets.Scottish Executive – I researched the viability of establishing work-based residential education for disabled people in Scotland, and made recommendations directly to the Scottish Executive. These were used by a minister to respond to a question in parliament.Scottish Government – I was part of the review of Specialist Children’s Health Services – I project managed, facilitated, analysed and reported on all events for parents and carers to contribute to the response. This helped shape Scottish Government policy on children's health.Highlands and Islands Enterprise - I helped develop and write the consortium’s winning bid to deliver the Big Lottery Fund’s Growing Community Assets fund. I was responsible for both financial projections and modelling service demand, as well as the actual writing. The contract was worth £3.9 million, to deliver £50 million worth of grants. Show less
