Operations Manager and one of the Founding Directors of Lifeafterhummus Community Benefit Society - A social supermarket, re-use centre and redistribution network of surplus food and pre-loved items serving the community of Somers Town in Camden, London. In March 2020 - we pivoted our services to serve the local community as a community benefit society to provide food aid. Pre-pandemic we taught hands-on nutrition and cooking classes often to 40-60 people at a time in our waste-prevention cooking classes, vegan chefs of colour series and our family sessions. Our motto is: Health is a RIGHT and not a privilege.
