I served as the President of Independence Realty Trust, a NYSE company ("IRT"), from April 2013 through May 1, 2023. In that capacity I participated in the successful IPO of IRT and growth from a $150 million market cap multi family REIT with 1,200 units to a $4 billion market cap with close to 40,000 units and 1,200 employees. The $8 billion portfolio consisted of garden style suburban communities located in the Southeast and Midwest. Within IRT we built and grew an exceptional highly functional senior leadership team that serviced all aspects of the company including, capital allocation, acquisitions & dispositions, asset management, renovations and marketing.
