I'm recently back in Europe after a 10 month career break on the African continent. Here's a taste of what I got up to there:- Led a social impact project at a primary school in Uganda - project management, fund-raising, infrastructure projects, providing skills workshops- Co-founded a charity that will launch soon... (stay tuned)- Met climate justice activists in Malawi and became a mentor to Simeon. Together we manage a Substack called "Malawi's Call" (https://simeonkalua.substack.com/about)- I shared all of my travel stories and impressions over on a dedicated Substack "Postcards from Africa" (https://substack.com/@postcardsfromafrica)- Upskilled and discovered new passionsPrior to my career break I spent four years on the Sustainable Investing team at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Zürich. I was a Senior Active Ownership specialist with a focus on responsible consumption & production. I'm now at Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in a temporary role, which is giving me a chance to orient myself towards more mission-driven work in the area of impact finance or similar.Feel free to reach out and get in touch.
