During my internship, my job was to support people who have experienced family violence. My work involved attending court in relation to intervention orders, supporting parents who seek parenting agreements and parenting orders, and helping people who seek a divorce. It also involves court work at the Magistrates Court in Werribee and Federal Court in Melbourne while shadowing lawyers and sorting out paperwork.
