I am a passionate and ambitious professional with a proven track record of top-quality execution. With over 18 years of experience in research and product development (specializing in signal processing), I've held various roles across organizations in Pakistan, New Zealand, Ireland, and the US. Currently, I am channeling this expertise into growing my own tech startup, NewVative. After earning my PhD in 2013, I focused on commercial R&D projects alongside teaching, driven by a belief that engineering research should not only address significant societal problems but also generate tangible economic value. Later, during my postdoctoral work at Trinity College Dublin in 2018, where I focused on applying AI to wireless systems, my interest in AI's potential deepened. This led to co-founding NewVative, fulfilling my passion for applying technology to create large-scale impact. As a co-founder, performed various roles, including customer discovery, MVP development, product market fit, team management etc. I’m an avid reader on entrepreneurship, organizational psychology, and personal development, with favorites including The Untethered Soul, See Solve Scale, Build, Influence, and Algorithms to Live By.
