EU Finance Business Partner for Amazon Fashion, being responsible for evaluating the company’s long-term strategy, conducting analysis, financial planning, benchmarking, and business partnering.Implemented numerous new business processes and amended existing processes to deliver efficiency. An example was to streamline the month end reporting process using data modelling to better identify drivers of performance, leading to a time saving of 14 hours per month.Undertook a sizeable strategic modelling exercise to build a bottom-up financial model to shape the future strategy of the business.Finance lead for the launch of a new Amazon program from inception to employee beta with the program having an 84% uptake.Highlighted and mitigated business risks to inventory posed by the COVID-19 pandemic through the creation of a data driven dashboard that combined information from numerous sources into one centralised location, allowing multiple stakeholders to use this dashboard to make business decisions to prevent negative impacts to the business. Utilised SQL, Power Pivot, Power Query and internal systems to create a centralised tool that was robust and allowed detailed analysis to be carried out.
