About Farshad Alamdar
The main focus of my research and work experience has been on analyzing businesses (both conventional and sustainable) to design appropriate strategies and policies to help them achieve their objectives and develop markets in the future. This business analysis is carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed), modeling, and simulation. The fundamental basis of this modeling and simulation is systems thinking and system dynamics to understand and solve complex dynamic problems. I am currently working as a management consultant in systems and business analysis. I have had 20 years of work experience in the fields of analysis and improvement of businesses, related systems and processes, marketing planning, strategy analysis, sustainability, and project management, and have also carried out various practical projects in these regards. The main advantage of using mixed methods, modeling, and simulation in business analysis is that before implementing key decisions in the real world and incurring high costs or possible losses, these decisions are first analyzed and tested on the computer under various future scenarios and uncertainties. Then, based on the analysis results, the best business and marketing strategies and policies are identified for implementation in actual conditions with appropriate confidence and low risk.
