During my internship at the Fraunhofer ILT I worked on the BRIDLE project where I was assigned to build a 7:1 high power fiber combiner for power scaling. The 7:1 combiner consists of 35/50µm fibers feeding into a pre tapered capillary which is spliced on a 105/125µm double clad fiber.
