Farzana is passionate about social mobility and youth empowerment, and is pursuing a BA Education degree at The Manchester Metropolitan University. She collaborates with charity organisations and policy-makers to tackle inequalities in education and provide insight into the issues affecting young people.As a Youth Steering Group Member at Fair Education Alliance, she works with partners such as Teach First and The Sutton Trust to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged students. She also serves on the Youth Advisory Board for Youth Leads UK, where she represents young people and helps steer the strategic direction of the organisation. Farzana has spoken at the House of Lords and the Chancellor's Dinner, highlighting the impact of philanthropy and the challenges of first generation students. She is a confident public speaker and has delivered talks at colleges and sixth forms across Greater Manchester, inspiring young people to achieve their potential.Farzana is skilled in Recruitment and HR, having worked at a specialist recruitment agency and a humanitarian NGO. She has experience in onboarding and DE&I, and has contributed to the recruitment and retention of diverse and talented staff. Farzana is a strong team player and a motivated learner, who aims to make a positive difference in the world through education and advocacy.
