Head Of Administration
As part of their expansion into Mumbai and acquisition of the coveted Express Towers, Panchshil Realty hired my services to run the day to day operations for their office in Mumbai. I was made head of administration and handling finance with HR responsibilities for the company. I reported directly to Mr. Atul Chordia, CEO & Mr. Sagar Chordia, Managing Director for all liaison between our head office in Pune and Mumbai. Due to my good interpersonal skills and demeanour, I was requested to move to Pune as executive assistant to the Chordias but declined to due to my family obligations in Mumbai. My duties currently include orchestration and implementation of all office systems and processes, leading the administration team for daily operations, procurement and maintenance of office equipment, complete support to the sales team and senior managers in Pune/ Mumbai, running in-house HR programmes, escalation of all critical issues to the management team in Pune to ensure risk containment, actively manage the follow up of payment collections from clients, managed all PR and marketing activities for the company, ran Panchshil’s CSR initiative in Mumbai with various NGO’s, facilitated events and worked closely with the Express Towers team, organised meet and greet events for real estate agents/clients and the launch of Panchshil’s luxury furniture store Spazio, Mumbai. In the last 5 years I was able to develop the ability to deal with sensitive and proprietary information with utmost confidentiality and professionalism and learnt to thrive in changing environments with multiple priorities. My work is detail oriented and I was able to interact effectively with a diverse constituent of people.
Office Administrator
Worked as Head of Administration for Cluttons India Pvt. Ltd. Cluttons are property consultants and estate agents specialising in the finance, sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties, facility management and property valuation. My duties included - maintaining the company database of contacts, scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining expenses and calendar/diary management, liaison with banks and accounting team both in India as well as UAE/ London, muster maintenance, asset purchase, client database management, booking of cars, hotels and flights, visa documentation, printing and stationary for all marketing collateral, record keeping and managing of company files.

The role offered to me by the owner and managing director Mr. Nigel Lang was that of Client Services Manager but within 2 weeks I was asked to become a director for both of Mr. Lang’s companys’ - Flitabout Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and Cutting Edge Promotions Pvt. Ltd. The main Colaba office was set up by me which included major refurbishment, renovation and installation of all IT and electronic systems. I was majorly involved in the recruitment of the core team and staff. My job responsibilities extended and expanded as the company grew managing all the day to day operational/managerial activities and supervising a staff of more than 30 employees. I was the main point of contact between our international clients and their Indian suppliers/clients. I was also a non-executive director for two of our client companies. Other duties involved; client relationship management - ensuring their needs are anticipated and met, development and implementation of administrative and HR procedures, implementing and managing financial procedures including cash flow, liaison with key suppliers including banks, accountants, legal and other professional advisors, managing the smooth flow of office processes/people and systems, attending board and management meetings with responsibility for corporate governance and compliance with government regulations.
Non Executive Director
I was requested to become a Non Executive Director by Mr. Ian Kerr himself in order for him to set up an Indian entity in Mumbai. As an authorised signatory I was given complete responsibility of Mr. Kerr’s finances in India.
Liaison Officer
Joined the Raiffeisen Group in Mumbai as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Representative of South-East Asia Mr. Anupam Johri, after graduation. I was promoted soon after to Senior Liaison Officer between the head office in Vienna and trade finance departments of local Indian banks.My job responsibilities included MIS reporting to the head office in Vienna, Letter of Credit (L/c) updating and scrutiny, administrative duties, handling all business correspondence from the bank for marketing and promotional activities. Letter of Credit (L/c) investigations, included follow-up and liaison with branches and Head Offices / International Divisions of Banks in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, of pending L/c advising, reimbursements, amendments etc. Remittances investigations for South Asia region included tracing SWIFT messages, cover funds and completing pending inward remittances up to obtention of beneficiary credit details. Guarantees investigations, included bank guarantee drafts finalisation, argument with domestic banks on counter guarantee formats and obtaining bank guarantee release documentation after expiry of guarantee validity.
