Group Chief Information Officer
CurrentResponsible for delivering Technology and Digital service capabilities across the group. Supporting and enabling technology integration program to combine group businesses post-mergers. Oversight of Group’s ICT strategy, governance, compliance, delivery, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, contact centers, corporate shared services and Centre of Excellence (COE).Reporting to Vice Chairperson, as a key member of the group executive team, I work closely and collaboratively with other members & commercial business leaders across the Group.Achievements to date:• Leading the group’s ICT strategy globally. Development and execution of cross-company teams on business efficiency, digital transformation, and revenue enhancement projects through multiple domestic and foreign mergers during a period of rapid growth.•Orchestrated effective change and operational leadership, during a period of significant change, maintaining a culture focused on supporting multiple companies with nimble staff.•Fostered a culture of excellence, growth and continuous improvement, by ensuring ICT staff have access to development opportunities, coaching and monitoring.•Directed the team on upgrade of Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion, (Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, Order management, Hyperion, Planning & Budgeting, Consolidation, WMS, Quality Mgmt. and HCM).•Implemented an Integrated Property management solution for the group with assets held within Oman and the rest of GCC.•Implemented an integrated travel management solution (TRAACS) that resulted in a double-digit reduction in work, assisted in financial control, profitability and revenue growth by equipping right set of tools for B2B, B2C, Inbound & Outbound systems, ease of use & significant cost savings.•Established effective ICT Risk Management and Cybersecurity management frameworks.•Established a fully functional and operational DR site with seamless transition for SBGH head office.
