I worked for FHI 360 at their 5 years USAID funded project implemented in Jordan (2013-2018) USAID Civic Initiative Support Program CISAchievements:- Conduct dozens of organizational assessments for CSOs, and mentor organizations to create institutional development plans using USAID Tools.- Mentor and guide 5 organizations to develop strategic plans, enhance the good governance, and review around 20 strategies for other CSOs.- Technical mentor for 4 organizations to develop operational and human recourses policies. - Assess training services for 3 organizations and mentor the organization to develop training management manuals.- Conduct TOT training for two groups of trainers from CSOs on adult learning methodology "the global learning education GLP", and mentor dozen of trainers to develop their training material based on the methodology.- Develop several training materials and train more than 500 persons from around 150 CSOs through more than 25 courses over a period of 4 years on: project design& proposal writing, budgeting, communication planning, advocacy, reporting and writing success stories.- Design TOT program to certify trainers and organization to deliver USAID CIS training material on "Project Design & proposal writing course" and certify 12 trainers from 4 CSOs. - Mentor around 130 trainers (one-on-one after training courses) to complete their training assignments on writing proposals and on developing communication plans.- Act as member of Grants Evaluation Committee to review and evaluate proposals submitted for the program for funding.- Act as grant officer for 3 grants officer to supervise the organizations implementation of the grants.- Support management to ensure communication materials are in line with communication strategy.

CDFJ is Non for profit organization based in Amman, Jordan and works in field of media freedom and media development. Main duties and responsibilities:- Assist in restructuring the organization to enhance good governance through review bylaw, change organizational chart and establish a board of directors.- Assist in developing overall strategy for the organization for the first time. - Review existing policies and develop new policies for Operation, Finance and HR. - Develop internship program with its policies and procedures.- Lead fund raising team and international relation with donors, and manage to assist in increasing the annual budget (funded projects) from $500 thousands to reach $900 thousands.- Writing proposals documents and applications (dozens were successfully funded) and manage the relation with donors. - Develop 3 regional programs and projects each was implemented in more than 3 countries; manage directly one program and act as assistant director the other two.- Construct action plans for CDFJ projects and supervise the daily execution of the projects, evaluate project progress and achievements and review project reports. - Lead team of coordinators and administrative assistants in their daily work.- Evaluate staff performance, and assist in recruiting coordinators and administrative assistants.- supervise training activities, set outline designs for training, Recruit, supervise and evaluate trainers, as well as Design and conduct some trainings.- Planning for advocacy and communication activities.- Represent the organization in Local, regional & international gatherings.
