The CDKN Africa Programme mobilises adaptation knowledge and capacity to strengthen southern leadership for transformative climate resilience. Priority countries include Kenya, Namibia, Ethiopia, Ghana and Senegal.

Implement biodiversity-related, subregional (Hindu Kush Himalayan and MENA) and university partnership research projects that fill knowledge gaps to ramp up adaptation efforts in countries. Guide collaborations with UNFCCC constituted bodies and the facilitation of the 450+ member partner network to inform adaptation actions, in line with the Paris Agreement.

Managed a portfolio of projects for the Nairobi work programme (NWP), UNFCCC's knowledge-to-action hub for adaptation and resilience. The NWP informs the knowledge needs of Parties and connects UNFCCC constituted bodies and 400+ external stakeholders to address adaptation knowledge gaps to support the formulation and implementation of national adaptation plans. Led the biodiversity thematic work and subregional activities in the Middle East and North Africa.

As an independent consultant, I:- provided technical advice and guidance on climate change adaptation and knowledge management- coordinated conceptual and practical thinking for multi-country climate change programmes to develop knowledge management, stakeholder engagement and learning strategies- undertook research and produced scoping studies on climate change and development issues - designed strategies that influenced engagement and advocacy campaigns. Norwegian Refugee Council's deployed expert. Managed the engagement of critical stakeholders, development of research outputs and outreach to showcase learning on sustainable and effective models for climate information services in sub-Saharan Africa.

My work at IDS focused on climate adaptation research and the critical exploration of knowledge management and learning processes to inform decision making processes.

- Managed the Environment, Agriculture and Food Security resource guides on Eldis (www.eldis.org)- Developed the Climate Change Resource Guide in partnership with the Climate Change Research team at IDS.- Conducted research as part of developing literature reviews for DFID climate change thematic papers.
