• Asperity degradation of rock joints under different loading conditions – Ph.D. thesis (Universite de Sherbrooke & HydroQuebec)• Developed a MATLAB code to calculate contact area, damaged area and aperture during a natural rock joint shear test. • Developed a mobile in-situ set up and in-lab apparatus for large-scale shear test (up to 1m by 1m).• Performed the various geotechnical tests including shear test, Brazilian test, nondestructive (AE) measurement, triaxial and uniaxial tests.
