We partner across the globe with local teams to deliver world class products and services for effective schooling, including virtual and blended, through excellent professional development and teacher training, school improvement services and school operations. Bangladesh

I am leading, on a pro bono basis, work on transforming BRAC education in Bangladesh to a sustainable, low cost business model. Brac provides high quality education in Bangladesh to millions of students and families across pre K-13, and is the world's largest NGO.

South Africa

I lead the acquisition of the CTI education group and became chairman of the group, post acquisition, overseeing significant growth and transformation during my tenure.

Cape Town Area, South Africa

I was asked to return to Pearson's Africa business to design and implement a new vision, growth and transformation, as Chairman and CEO. I spearheaded successful entry into new markets in Africa, specifically Mozambique, Angola and Kenya; and oversaw several large and successful acquisitions and integrations. During my tenure we achieved healthy revenue growth year on year and were one of Pearson's most profitable businesses, globally. I did an enormous amount of work on organizational values, vision and teamwork, focusing on delivery and accountability.
