Integration of security vulnerability detection into continuous integration/continuous delivery workflow: Evaluated different security vulnerability tools in the market on various factors to identify the best suited ones for our use case. Implemented end-to-end proof-of-concept workflows integrating these tools into existing build/deploy structure and recommended the best one for use across the organization. Framework for testing older versions of library APIs : Developed a framework to test older versions of API by having multiple test projects in a solution targeting different versions of a library API. This helps identify any backwards compatibility issues during development phase and increases test coverage of versions not in active developmentFront-end and back-end test automation : Added unit test and regression test coverage using C#, R and expanded the front-end test suite by writing integration tests in Selenium for features developed on the team.Performed programmatic manual testing of library APIs eventually converting them into automated tests to be run in the continuous integration workflow. Visualization tools for tracking performance : Developed performance tests for APIs and tracked performance using big data visualization tool, Splunk. Set up dashboards to look at metrics and trigger alert emails when there was a spike or dip in performance. Monitored usage data and derived insights on most used features and least used settings/features to inform decisions on maintainability and deprecation efforts.

Framework for running R unit tests on Jenkins : Introduced unit testing in R using ‘testthat’ package in the organization. Implemented a one-off job on Jenkins to run these tests as a part of continuous integration workflow. Increased adoption across the organization by automating the Jenkins job creation using Jenkins Job Builder allowing any team to add and run R unit tests through Jenkins. Published documentation on best practices to write and run these tests for maintainability.Automatic space clean up on Jenkins hosts : Developed a wrapper around Jenkins APIs in C# to find all the jobs on a given Jenkins host, cross check them with a list of jobs expected to be there and deletes the others. This project has widely reduced job failures on Jenkins hosts due to space issues and reduced the manual efforts in maintaining space on Jenkins hosts.Tools to ease test data creation and retrieval : Authored complex SQL procedures to create test data. Quality assurance engineers across the organization leveraged these to reduce the time investment in test data creation. Eventually integrated these procedures into a front-end application to improve usability and adoption. The idea of these tools was to increase the efficiency of the engineers on the team by making test data creation and retrieval easier, thereby reducing the chances of stale and repetitive data in the testing databases
