Dr Fathi Tarada is the founder and managing director of Mosen Ltd (https://mosen.global/), an engineering consultancy. He is qualified in engineering, management and law and is a leading expert in fire safety engineering, tunnel ventilation and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Fathi is also the Chief Technologist for MoJet Ventilation (https://mojet.global/), a breakthrough technology for sustainable tunnel ventilation, and has submitted over 30 patent applications in the field of mechanical engineering. He has been instructed in a number of commercial disputes and criminal trials in the UK and internationally, as an expert witness. Fathi is the UK Representative of the World Road Association (PIARC) Technical Committee on Road Tunnel Operations, a member of the CENELEC working group writing a new tunnel atmosphere monitoring standard and a member of the ISO/BSI committee on fans. He has chaired several international conferences on ventilation, fire safety and tunnel design and has published over 50 technical papers in these fields. Fathi was awarded a Denning scholarship by Lincoln's Inn and a medal for Construction Health & Safety by the Institution of Civil Engineers. He is a Chartered Engineer and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers.
