My responsibilities included:- Developing and managing social media marketing to various audiences (customer charities, consumers, legal firms etc.) & scheduling posts to raise the legacy fundraising business’s profile- Managing and supporting the onboarding of new charity customers- Setting up customer charity dashboards using Google Data Studio- Managing and producing customer update emails using Mailchimp (implemented by myself), tracking responses, and collating replies and communicating with customer charities via email- Supporting the production of regular webinars and customer meetings, including planning, scheduling events, managing email invitations and ticketing processes- Managing and keeping up to date an online community hub filled with resources and collateral for customer charities and responding to any queries they have- Creating and designing content for social media and any requested bespoke materials for charity customers in line with brand guidelines with Adobe programmes- Liaising with external partners such as software developers and a digital marketing agency- Using Google Analytics to track customer charity campaigns- HTML and CSS to create information pages on the website

My responsibilities consisted of co-managing the social media accounts for the youth-led charity based in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. My role at Leaders in Community (LiC) is predominantly a Marketing Assistant where I aid in advertising the youth charity as authentically as I can. This is done by transparently capturing and delivering the grassroots aspect of the charity and implementing it through the content that we upload on social media. I took photographs and edit films/videos of the projects and create posts and content for the online platforms.I had the experience to be also be a Project Assistant and aided the Be.Inspired Womens’ project as an administrator by helping prepare for the sessions but I also take part in our mindful sessions where we predominately spoke about all things mental health, women empowerment, everyday struggles we face day to day and much more. Most importantly it felt great to be a role model for aspiring young women whom they can look up to and achieve their dreams and aspirations.

I had the experience to work with UCL Institute of Global Prosperity as a Citizen Scientist and had explored the concept of regeneration in East London. I had been given the chance to conduct my research in the area of Hackney Wick; as a researcher I had the experience to qualitatively interview residents from this region and found out extents about peoples opinions on the regeneration of their area and what they disliked about it but also what they looked forward to e.g. jobs, amenities. Once the research and data were completed it had been typed up and transcribed with the residents' permission and keeping their identity hidden. My research can be found and has been acknowledged in the book: Rethinking Prosperity for London: When Citizens Lead Transformation (ISBN 978-1-913041-01-4).
