Although I have experience in varying fields, I strive to be as helpful and impactful to those around me in each experience. From tutoring to volunteering with patients, I love interacting with others, building connections, and becoming a reliable resource within a team. I have two years of experience in hospital volunteering and patient care as well as helping college students in my community with tutoring, mentorship, and leading college organizations like The Refugee Advocacy Club at UCR and Dance For Mental Health at UCR. As President of these organizations, I work to organize opportunities to help refugee populations around the world and to help students nurture a genuine love for dance through free dance classes and mental health discussions. When I am not learning more about biology and medicine as a fourth year pre-medical student at UCR, I am prioritizing service in these different experiences and prove to be a valuable asset to many of my teams. In regards to my passion for medicine, I have worked in COPE Health Scholars at Kaiser Permanente Riverside as a Health Scholar, Department Coordinator, and Assistant Director of Departments throughout the years. These experiences have made me well-equipped to work with project management, administration, team-building, and proper patient care/practices. I have also worked on the Finance Committee of San Bernadino Free Clinic in writing grants and organizing proper funding for clinic operations.
