Executive officer role - working for government regarding Immigration. Staying up to date with policies as well as applying them daily. Working with team and training new members accurately with latest updates to job requirements.

NHS track and trace service

In my final year of university I was selected to go on a placement at The Manchester College where we experienced all aspects of further education; from admin to working with SEND students. It was an extremely insightful experience where I learned a lot about a sector of education that I didn’t know much about but is a huge source of knowledge and support for people of all ages and abilities. At the end of the placement I completed a reflective journal, gave a presentation to government education officials and left with a certificate of completion.

As a donor care advisor in a highly competitive atmosphere, my main role was to pitch sales to customers, both outbound and inbound calls in order to get them to donate to current campaigns and even upsell direct debits, and to deal with all complaints and to help customers with any enquiries. Sometimes even having to take receptionist duties. As well as this, both during my employment at Human Appeal and outside of it, I have volunteered for some of their many charity events from comedy shows to helping with collections. This was the first role I worked that required hitting KPI’s and had daily target reviews, allowing me to have an early introduction to sales and target hitting, focusing on organisation, team work and personal skills.
