In my graduate year of the Bachelor of Public Health at Monash University, I am passionate about community health and improving the life of others through health awareness and education.I've volunteered since the beginning of my degree in 2019 as a way of engaging with the community and applying my theoretical knowledge in a practical environment. I have been exposed to a number of administrative elements, development of health service programs, and input in policy development throughout my volunteer experience with Mercy Health and CHASE.My current retail experience has helped me develop foundational skills that will propel me into my Public Health career. I have learned to communicate effectively with customers and understand their needs, customer service is at my core and I enjoy working with people. I foresee my graduate career in a community focussed Public Health specialisation and am open to opportunities that will stretch my capabilities.
