Currently, I work as Operation Engineer (Protege) at Sungai Harmoni Sdn Bhd, which is currently involved in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) at the Sungai Selangor Phase 1 treatment plant, such as data analysis, developing operational solutions, and risk management. My scope of job specifically is to handle final interviews including technical specification, compliance, and quotation. Also, I was appointed to organized events, from pre-planning, through the event day. Now, I'm involved and appointed to organize events under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to uphold Taliworks Corporation Berhad's Sustainability Framework aligned with Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) aspects which is to foster a culture of sustainability.2. I also have experience in Testing and Quality Assurance during an internship at SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, particularly in plastic and composite materials under ISO 17025 laboratory guidelines. It requires me to plan and execute experiments related to thermal & spectroscopic analysis, physical and mechanical properties, and environmental conditioning according to national and international standards. During my internship, I need to examine materials and products specifically in plastic that comply with national and international standards (International Standard (ISO), British Standard (BS), and Malaysia Standard (MS)). 3. Also, I was appointed as a leader during my Design Project. Our project is to produce 5,000 Metric Tonnes per year of Glycerol via Transesterification of Waste Cooking Oil. We were assigned to do a preliminary design of a chemical plant that takes consideration of chemical reaction, fluid fundamentals, site location, mass and energy balance, process simulation, waste management, process control instrumentation, heat integration, equipment design, economic analysis, and plant layout.4. My final year project during study is to investigate how to transfer waste to reusable energy. The process that I used during the project is the pyrolysis process. This process is a well-known thermochemical conversion technique for valorizing Plastic waste to turn waste into useful energy. 5. I am a person who is willing to learn anything and take ownership of complex issues. Having a position in the engineering field will prove my strong technical skills, ideas, and genuine enthusiasm inside me to progress and grow. My career aspiration since I finished my studies is to become an industry expert and hope to increase my technical knowledge and contribute back to industry development.
