UCI graduate majored in Psychology B.A. and Education Sciences B.A. I currently have one year of experience working as a Behavior Interventionist with Neurodivergent children who have Autism. My job environment is versatile, sessions take place in the clinic and at home. My objective during session is to implement the ABA play-based approach during sessions while collecting data for my BCBA's. While also creating a positive and stimulating environment that implements ABA techniques to reduce and eliminate unwanted behavior from the client. As a Behavior Interventionist I work under my supervisors and collaborate with other professionals on the team, ultimately using the multidisciplinary approach to communicate effectively among professionals in the same cases as clients. I also have two years of experience working as an Assistant Teacher at a pre-school. Problem-solving, creativity and classroom management techniques were prominent skills during my time. My role was to attend to lead teacher and aide in classroom activities and scaffold their learning. I also was accounted for creating a schedule for children to follow by in the afternoon.
