I'm a feminist anthropologist, currently based in Peru, with a M.A. in Gender and Public Policies as well as postgraduate studies in andean history, gender, public policies, sexuality education and ethnicity. My feminist commitment has led me to work, during the last fifteen years, in several women’s and human rights organizations regionally. My professional experience focuses in project management, capacity building, social research (conducting quantitative and qualitative research in multicultural fields) and campaigning. This has allowed me to learn, read and think about my own experience as a Latin American woman and engage in several feminist projects. As a passionate advocate for sexual and reproductive rights, I have worked delivering information about medical abortion in the Peruvian hotline. My feminist engagement has led me to work with Latin American women’s human rights defenders (WHRDs) in advocacy and capacity building activities.
