About Fatma Ebeid

Dr Fatma Ebeid, professor of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and bone marrow transplant and currently is the executive director of Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams Research Institute- Clinical Research Center (MASRI- CRC). Dr Ebeid is responsible for ensuring that the clinical trial and their associated trial-related medical decisions are properly conducted. Dr. Ebeid had around fifteen years’ experience in conducting multi-center international clinical studies. Dr. Ebeid had special interest in the inherited anaemia especially the SCD and currently she is the responsible physician running the SCD clinic at Ain Shams University. She implemented the first center in Africa for Automated Erythrocytapheresis for SCD patients where patients referred from all over Egypt. Dr Ebeid participated in many international clinical trials addressing SCD ranging from iron chelation to anti-sickling investigational drugs.Dr Ebeid had publication cover the field of Hematology Oncology and bone marrow transplant and also COVID-19NCBI: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/18uV9x6wn7m5hq/bibliography/public/
