Yes, I have become “that woman” I was always nervous to talk to in the first minutes of job interviews then unbelievably manages to keep it delightfully going for both sides. And yes, I take crucial notes about people that they are dying to know. I ask people questions to give a way to show their abilities and excitement for work and perhaps show a bit of sense of humor. And once they are in, they are most likely to hear my name in sentences like: “Oh you are planning to take your leave, talk to Fatma!”, or “We are planning a team trip, let’s do this with Fatma.”, or “I am not feeling well and motivated these days… Hi, Fatma!” Luckily, I absolutely love to be the glue of the team. The one who sticks everyone together and focuses the “human” part when projects are meeting the deadlines, tasks are successfully completing.
