I am a emeritus associate professor of the School of Computing, Clemson University. My wife and I live in Clemson, SC. My post partum interests are not far from my 40 year career in computer science. Curator of the "Computational Thinking Academy" block at computationalthought.wordpress.com* Computing archeology. Computing archeology is a new "science", looking mostly at those old legacy FORTRAN programs that none of the young-uns know how to read.*Paleo languages. Remember PL/I? SNOBOL? Fine old languages lost in the sands of time.Short BiographyFormer Employers: U. S. Army (1965-1969), Bell Telephone Laboratories (1969-1980); Clemson University, School of Computing (1980-2013).Advisor to 3/3 1ARVN in the Hue area, 1968-1969My interests revolve around modeling and simulation on the one hand and correctness of those things on the other.
