Roman’s career foundation has included over two decades in the realms of marketing, strategy, sales management and financial services with a number of Fortune 500 companies. As a socially conscious entrepreneur, she become an advocate for clean energy because she believes in the chance to limit our impact on the environment and seize new market opportunities in alternative energy. She is recognized for her depth of knowledge and technical and strategic expertise. She works with policy makers, equipment manufacturers, oil, utility companies, environmental groups, investors, and government agencies in support of clean energy solutions for climate security.Faustina runs VLV's West Coast office in San Diego and she expels myths about solar energy, including the main one: they are too expensive. As a thought leader in VLV Development’s green initiatives and strategies, Roman-del Rio specializes in helping businesses address the ways in which they operate day-to-day, helping them discover ways of decreasing their negative impact on the environment so they’re better positioned for the markets of the future. She is bilingual (Spanish) and has a BA in Commerce from Chicago's DePaul University. She also participated executive-level programs at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. A certified LEED Green Associate, Faustina is a member of the the Solar Energy Industry Association.
