• Preparing draft reports for the Office of the Director-General to provide background information on the status of implementation by individual Member States of their Chemical Weapons Convention ("CWC") obligations, specifically with reference to their adoption of legislation and administrative measures, and proposing points to be addressed in meetings between the Director-General and representatives of such Member States;• Supporting two Legal Officers within the Branch in the preparation of background material for regional meetings of the National Authorities of States Parties and technical assistance visits to individual States Parties, this material served to guide Legal Officers in bilateral discussions with the representatives of States Parties participating in such meetings;• Assisting in developing presentations to be made by Legal Officers during meetings, highlighting the scope and nature of obligations of States Parties under the CWC;• Besides registering legislative and administrative measures submitted by the States Parties to the Technical Secretariat, I also maintained internal databases and national implementation records in an accurate and timely manner;• In the context of national implementation measures, I drafted correspondence to States Parties, such as notes verbales, letters, and e-mails;• Interacting with representatives of the Member States, attending meetings of the Executive Council, Informal Consultations on legal issues related the national implementation of the CWC, and the annual Conference of States Parties. I assisted the preparation of background material for these meetings and drafted the minutes of the discussions conducted therein;• Assisting the Legal Officers in reviewing and providing comments on draft national implementing legislation prepared by States to comply with their obligations under the CWC.

Internship at the European Antitrust, Competition and Trade law division, dealing with:- European Antitrust law matters;- European State Aid matters; etc.

Provides corporate legal services, including but not limited to:- Conducting Legal Due Diligence on companies prior to merger/ acquisition transactions;- Coordinating, preparing and compiling necessary documents to support company merger / acquisition transactions;- Preparing drafts of amendment of Articles of Association of companies;- Translating legal documents and licenses from Indonesian language to English and vice versa; etc.
