Apply engineering techniques and methodologies such as 8D problem solving, Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), deliver cost & time saving by implementing lean manufacturing (JIT, Kanban, Takt Time Study, continuous improvement Kaizen & Poka-Yoke)6) Supported pre-sales by providing consultation for conceptual design, marketing tools, material presentations, product catalogues, yearly exhibition, assembly instruction (AI), marketing price list & respond quickly to any product technical issue enquiries7) Supported company’s documentation for internal & external Audit of ISO 9001 every year8) Building a responsive network, which can leverage to find new projects & extra work. During my internship period, I was assigned under M&E (Maintenance & Electrical) Department at Top Glove Factory 29, Meru, KlangResponsibilities:1) Worked closely with Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) team to digitalize and automate the monitoring system of factories’ utilities (water, electricity and gas) through SCADA2) Compiled and analyzed all the water, electricity & gas consumptions, utilizations and wastages for Factory 293) Involved closely on any issues and projects regarding water, electricity and gas utilization. Reported to superiors & high management4) Standardized the water usage, electricity usage & gas usage design requirements for factories to meet optimum utilizations.
