Profile bio

About Faviola Dadis

Coming from a diverse cultural background and having lived in 9 countries, my philosophy regarding business and innovation has always been to look at ways to solve problems on a global scale. I am an innovative and passionate entrepreneur with a strong research and marketing background, and vast experience and expertise in cutting-edge emerging industries.I believe that technology has the ability to bridge the gap between research and practice and am inspired by others who share this vision! To that extent, I regularly participate in knowledge transfer of STEM and innovation in a way that is accessible to everyone regardless of their background as a speaker at conferences, events, panels, and via social media.I am always looking towards the future and ventures that aim to build a better world. Working with the Rollman Group, I am currently an asset manager in the sustainable commodities industy - utilizing cryptocurrency mining and blockchain to reduce the enviromental impact of this space. As the Founder of NeuroReality, a medtech company focused on developing Virtual Reality-based cognitive telerehabilitation, I invented a gamified Software as a Medical Device suite, Koji's Quest, that has helped 1000s of patients with brain injuries, Long-COVID, congenital heart disease, ALS, neurodegenerative, and neurodevelopmental conditions recover. I am an experienced PhD Candidate with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. I completed my Research Master's Thesis at the University of Oxford, focused on cognition in stroke survivors, acquired brain injury, and other neurodegenerative diseases. At Oxford I worked on the translation, design, and application of standardized neuropsychological tests into digital solutions. Currently, I am completing my Doctoral Thesis at the VU University Amsterdam and Utrecht University, in collaboration with the UMC and various rehabilitation centers. As a life-long learner myself, I was also a lecturer at the VU Amsterdam where I designed and teach a course called, “Kickstart Your Career.” After witnessing many talented students graduate without an understanding of their prospects for a successful career and transition to industry, I decided to develop this course to help students leverage transferable hard and soft skills learned from their studies in order to attain a fulfilling career.

Listed skills include Neuroscience, Research, Spss, Neuropsychological Assessment, and 19 others.
