I've been low-key for too long but have now decided to break free from the shackles of my introverted nature. I have loved reading since I was a child. Reading evokes my imagination and exposes me to various worlds. It is because of this passion that I got a degree in English and literary studies. Besides being an avid reader, I'm a people person. It may seem ironic, being introverted and a people person, but I have strong interpersonal skills that help delimit any limitation. I have now chosen a career in human resources in order to utilize my skills in talent management, engagement and productivity. I am adept at coordinating, executing and delivering human resource strategies that are related to worker’s compensation, benefits, and personnel management recruitment with consideration to existing labour laws. I enjoy working with people and helping them hone their skills and improve their productivity. I currently volunteer with an organization that is focused on transforming youths' mindsets and encouraging self-development. I have also interned as a human resource with an organization that is focused on equipping individuals with the right skill sets for employability. I believe in upskilling and self-development as a tool for career navigation and longevity in the workspace which has led me to seek out opportunities to improve my self with several certificates and awards.
