Project Title: VCU Capstone Design 2017: 3D-Printed Embedded Force Sensors (Excellence In Design of the Year Award)- Designed electrical schematics, layout, routing, component footprint creation, generation of Gerber files and bill of material (BOM) for a four layers printed circuit board (PCB) in Altium Designer to interfaces with 3D-printed shoe insole sensor arrays that send foot pressure data to smartphone device via Bluetooth to track the position of pressure applied on the foot.- Responsible for coding class methods in C running on Nordic nRF52832 (32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor) Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) SoC using Nordic SDK 13.0 on Keil IDE.- Incorporate with the newest Bluetooth 5 technology, our project has increased broadcasting capacity by 800% from 31 bytes to 255 bytes per packet with double speed from 1Mbps to 2Mbps compares to BLE 4.2- Developed an Android application utilizing Bluetooth 5 technology to communicates with wearable PCB to gather data in non-clinical settings.- Researched and interfaced multiple embedded components using ADC, UART, SPI and I2C protocols.- Received Excellence in Design Award and Sternheimer Award for 2017 VCU Senior Capstone Design.

Project Title: 2016 NXP/Freescale Cup Intelligent Car Contest- Built a trajectory tracking smart car. Assemble the car and implemented a PID algorithm in FreeScale micro-controller : FRDM-KL25Z and FRDM-TFC.- Acquire experience to program using C on ARM microchip and designed algorithms- Design circuits for CCD image sensor HQ7620, stabilized power supply chip LM2940.

Project Title: 2016 IEEE SouthEastCon Hardware & Software Competition- Design, model, and assemble autonomous robot to sort wooden blocks into designated areas by recognizing color or QR code.- Prototype sensors circuit interfacing with Arduino Nano and Raspberry Pi.- Lead programmer to control an autonomous robot that had to move and detect blocks of different colors and sizes to the correct location.- Using C++ in IEEE Software Competition to solve 5 challenged algorithmic program. Won fifth place out of fifty.

- Designed Motor shied which is an Arduino Compatible shield that interface with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that applied to different devices: drafting instrument, 3D printer, an auto curtain or even a walking robot. - Developed the efficient code and used different methods and algorithms to realize the functional aspects.- Established the pre-project direction and assessment framework and arranged technical documentation and coding notes since the project realized a number of modules that could be multiplexed into other projects.
