Mr. Farah is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the CFH Group an investment banking firm established in 1998. Mr. Farah has more than forty years of professional experience in commercial and investment banking. Between 1986-1998, he was the Managing Director and Regional Manager for Lehman Brothers Inc. in the Middle East. Prior to 1986, he held various banking positions in New York where he started his banking career with Citibank and subsequently moved to Kuwait and worked with Industrial Bank and the Commercial Bank of Kuwait. Mr. Farah holds an M.A from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.A from the California State University. Mr. Farah is an alumni of the Harvard Kennedy School – Executive Education Program. Presently, Mr. Farah is Member of the Board of Directors of First National Bank s.a.l. (FNB). In addition, he is currently serving as a Chairman of Capital Finance Company s.a.l. (CFC); Member of the Board of Directors in CSC Bank s.a.l.; and Société des Grands Hotels du Liban (Phoenicia Hotel). Mr. Farah is a Member of the Board of Trustees at the American Community School of Beirut and also member of the Board of Trustees of Saint George University of Beirut (SGUB). Mr. Farah is a former International Advisor to the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut. Also serves as a Board member in International Chamber of Commerce-Lebanon Chapter, member of the Lebanese-Saudi Businessmen Council and on a number of other corporate and charity organizations in the Middle East including the Nicola George Saab Charity Foundation.
