(a) Redesigning the traditional Quran stand.- Overtook intensive research in the current market. Visited over 30 Mosques to examine the current Quran stands.- Looked for possible features to develop in the stand's mechanism in order to enhance the spiritual journey one takes while reading Quran.- Researched and tested the appropriate postures and ergonomics to enhance the reader's experience.- Conceptualized many design ideas for the stands.(b) Worked on a collaboration between Hafiz Woodworks and our office to design a line of cultural inspired furniture items.- Conceptualized many design ideas for the furniture line items from tables, chairs and home partitions.- Constructed many small scaled models of the both current designs and new ones to understand the product's mechanism and joining techniques.(c) Designed a shelving system for the office to incorporate the new office setup.- Learned AutoCAD in depth under the guidance of a professional architect.- Handled the measurements, materials and coordinated with the assigned carpenter to make sure all fits in harmony.

Helped me improve many marketing and design skills. It was a thrilling experience to work in this energetic atmosphere and with such talented colleagues. I was assigned in a team to come up with a marketing campaign for Hemple, a world-leading coatings supplier for the decorative market. The aim of the advertisement campaign was to emphasis on the relation between certain colors and how it can enhance the mood of people. We worked on many different mediums to communicate the idea to our clients, from Interactive stands in shopping centers to interactive online applications.
