    At Carvela I work as the supervisor in store. As we are currently recruiting a new manager I have stepped up and taken extra responsibilities to help our dual site manager run the store. My role consists of running shifts from open to close, ensuring the store is hitting our daily KPI’s.Due to our small management team I help the store manager with everyday duties such as weekly/daily conversion trackers, rotas and team management.As part of my role I hold progression meetings with team members, addressing any performance issues and putting action plans In to place. As well as this I hold regular training with new and existing staff focusing on customer engagement role play and UPT training.Every Sunday I set up for the week, creating a weekly tracker. This consists of filling in our daily goals vs last year’s figures. This helps us to see if we are hitting our daily targets.During a shift I work alongside and guide the team in serving customers as well as daily tasks such as delivery and ensuring shop standards are immaculate.

As well as training the team I regularly participated in workshops run by the company, these ranged from Profit Protection training workshops to footwear training.As well as working as a supervisor I was customer service trained and completed 2 customer service shifts a week, replying to emails and phone calls from customers. I dealt with various scenarios ranging from customer returns, faulty products and general customer queries.
