After 17 years of working behind the scenes for planning for the company’s advancement and handling other administrative functions. Changes, call for a change in activity, in 2014 I have taken on the challenging yet rewarding task of sales. As a salesperson and owner of Toronto Advertising, I have the opportunity of meeting some of my clients which have given me a firsthand understanding of their needs and wants in designing their promotional flyers.My goal is to help clients boost their sales through direct marketing. Therefore, it is very rewarding to hear that their events were successful.  Designing promo pieces come with the postulate that it will bring success to the dealerships we are creating it for. Getting noticed in a crowded marketplace is all about setting yourself apart, making a statement and staying visible. It is for this reason that I and my designers ensure that the flyers we created stand out from others. Being a radio talk show host is not an easy task, especially when you don't have a degree in mass communication. The responsibility is a challenge and the success of the show depends on how you deliver the message. The authenticity of information given to our audience requires a lot of preparation, fact-checking, research and script-writing, ensuring our topics are clear, concise, informative and entertaining to worldwide listeners. Also, we study background information of our guests we interview on the show. I was lucky and thankful to have known a Filipino broadcaster who mentored me. Through his guidance and direction, I became a part of the "Pinoy Link Team." My co-hosts are three other beautiful and intelligent women, who add to the excitement and success of the show.The Overall responsibilities that I and my co host had to muster are:■ Identify stations, introduce guests, close shows, memorize or read scripts, and ad-lib when necessary.■ Interview show guests about their lives, their work, or topics of current interest.■ Discuss various topics over the telephone with viewers or listeners.■ Comment on music and other matters, such as weather or traffic conditions.■ Assist producers and assistants with selecting program content, based on factors such as program specialties, audience tastes, or requests from the public.■ Announce musical selections, station breaks, commercials, or public service information, and accept requests from listening audience.■ Provide commentary and conduct interviews during on a specified events on the air.■ Moderate panels or discussion shows on topics such as current affairs, art, or education.■ Locate guests to appear on talk or interview shows.■ Record commercials for later broadcast.■ Coordinate games, contests, or other on-the-air competitions, performing duties such as asking questions and awarding prizes.
