Communicating with new and existing clients whilst assisting in technical and update projects

When working within a traffic management team, an understanding of the site layout is crucial; therefore, I arrive on site early as to familiarise myself with the area and to introduce myself to those that I may need to liaise with. As control room traffic manager, I need to communicate to a large team of traffic personnel over the radio, some of whom I have never met, to ensure the safe movement of traffic inside events i.e. Glastonbury Festival. This is part of a Police Force approved contract and is important to be adhered to as to reduce any negative impact on the public highway and local infrastructure.
