I train on all IT Systems, current and new. I train all staff (professionals and business support staff) on Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint or any other new or upgraded program. I also run various specific courses within each of those programs for example, formatting of docs using Webber Wentzel housestyles in Word; tables; tracking documents, etc. I have Level 1, 2 and 3 courses in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint depending on the staff members' requirements. I also do desktop support in order to trouble-shoot peoples' documents or sort out whatever problems people have with their documents or computer settings by remoting their computers. I particularly use these occasions to assess training needs. I do monthly floor walk-abouts in order to make users feel supported by IT. I attend to the drafting of training manuals, lesson plans and assessments.I run specific competency assessments for HR when recruitment of new business support staff is being done (particularly legal secretaries), as part of their shortlisting or decision-making process.Projects:2011/2012, saw the launch of our new migration project, where all computers were migrated to MSOffice 2010. Along with migrating to Office 2010, we also launched our new template program called Xpressdox and new numbering styles called LegalStyles. 2011 was an extremely exhausting, yet exhilarating time leading up to the migration, as all the templates in Ghostfill had to be recreated in Xpressdox. I totally handled the migration project in Cape Town myself with the help of the Cape Town office's technicians, as well as providing all the training required for the various programs. Our end-February 2012 deadline was met with ease.Mimecast : This is our email archiving system which was rolled out in 2014. This was another difficult project but after all the issues were sorted and training done, everything ran smoothly.
