I have many years of teaching and management experience and have opened and run successful international schools in various countries. I know that each child is special, and my aim has always been to provide a holistic education and encourage lifelong learning in my students in a happy, safe environment. It is my belief that all children, given the right circumstances, can learn and that a solid foundation in the Early and Primary Years lays the path for lifelong success in our global, 21st century world. I am passionate about working with young children and education and love working with children. I have extensive knowledge of teaching English Language Learners and the stages children go through when learning in another language. I have had great success in teaching young children to communicate effectively in English using initiatives such as Pie Corbett’s ‘Talk4Writing’, ‘Rhyme Time’ and ‘Big Write’. I believe that if children are to achieve success, they need to have a solid foundation in reading and number skills in both the Early and Primary Years.
