Since 1978, I have advised owners of various sized companies on how to create employee benefits programs – programs that help attract and keep outstanding employees. Whether it is a large or small group, I use my industry knowledge and expertise to strategically guide employers through program development, carrier selection, group enrollment, and legal compliance. After enrollment, I become essential to the smooth operation of the group’s benefits program assisting with new hires, employee communications, and annual group renewal.Our agency has always helped families and individuals with assembling personal protection plans, but Health Reform has put our agents front and center when it comes to purchasing health insurance. In addition to helping business owners and individuals purchase insurance, I enjoy planning fundraisers, organizing a local support group, and entertaining my large and growing family. My husband, Bill Pender, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the ‘90s and is no longer active at the agency he created in 1972, but I keep him posted on the interesting developments in our market. Because of Bill’s illness, our family and business are dedicated to helping find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease, contributing time, talents, funds and prayers to the cause.
