I am a teacher with 18+ years of facilitating learning for middle school through collegiate students in science courses. I have developed and implemented several novel, brick and mortar/blended/online curricula, as well as worked with existing, frequently used, commercial curricula. I have a great deal of experience and perspective from my various roles working with different stakeholders in the life of a school community. I am formally educated in chemistry with interests and experience in applications of chemical content in traditional courses as well as elective courses taught over the last 2 decades covering content inclusive of substance education, environmental impacts, adolescent development, and neuroscience. I am deeply passionate about making science accessible, promoting equity and supporting scientific literacy for learners of all ages and backgrounds.
