A hard working and dedicated student with a passion for engineering materials and their application in solving real world problems. Capable of working independently and creatively within a team environment.I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Manchester researching the relationship between processing parameters used during additive manufacture repair of nickel superalloy components and the quality of the repair produced. I am also a holder of the President's Doctoral Scholar Award which is an elite studentship awarded to PhD students at the University of ManchesterI have been awarded a number of awards during my undergraduate degree and industrial placement including the AT Green Award for excellence in ceramics and the CSA Team Commendation Award.
