With a race equity mission and a priority focus on thriving children, working families and equitable communities the Foundation, in partnership with community leadership, and philanthropic and public/private partners, works to promote the deepest and most sustainable change in the communities that it serves. • Portfolio Management. Leads the foundation’s work to improve the wellbeing of children through partnerships that advance healthy families, equity in employment, and high-quality early childhood education and education systems in Michigan. • Team Leadership. Oversee grantmaking, associated operations, budget, and programmatic team members, throughout the state of Michigan, with a focus on priority funding places in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Battle Creek. • Strategy Planning and Execution. Leads strategic planning, priority setting, collaboration, knowledge sharing and relationship development across the state.
