CurrentAqlama Language Services is a global company based in Ramallah - Palestine, with presence in Dubai, UAِE, and San Francisco - California. We are specialized in providing language services, including: Collecting, transcribing, and annotating training data and building Large Language Models LLMs for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We also provide Localization, Translation, Transcription, Data Collection, Annotations, and Content Development services. We have a network of over 1000 freelancers located in countries such as: Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Palestine, Venezuela, Peru, Turkey, Brazil, and India. For the past 4 years, we have localized over 3 Million words to Arabic, transcribed over 10000 hours of voice and video data, collected over 10 million voice segments from thousands of participants around the world, and annotated millions of words. Languages Supported: We support Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and all major dialects: Egyptian, Levant, Gulf, Moroccan, and Iraqi. We also support other Middle Eastern Languages (Turkish, Farsi & Hebrew). Additionally, we support English variants, Spanish variants, Brazilian Portuguese, and Indic languages with teams of native speakers located in their respective countries. The Company was founded in 2018 by Dr. Fayeq Oweis, a former Language Manager at Google and the recipient of the Mohammed bin Rashid Arabic Language Award. Fayeq has been in the language industry for almost 20 years and worked as an educator, translator, reviewer, QA validator, and language manager. He was at Google for over 10 years and was responsible for launching most of Google’s products and services in Arabic and other languages, and has managed large teams of translators and language specialists covering 45 languages.
