Responsible for reviewing new client and matter search requests and gathering the information for verification of entity and party information. This position helps determine if the company may accept new matters in accordance with company policies. This position is also responsible for assisting with monthly proforma and invoice runs, and account collections for designated offices. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:Conducts searches in our internal accounting database by Loss Date, Accident Location, Description of Loss, and Related Parties to see if there are any conflicts prior to the company accepting a new matterCommunicate with administrative assistants/marketing/management regarding potential conflictsFollow up with administrative assistants when information is lacking on the information providedRuns conflict checks daily (except for the 5 days per month when performing billing duties)Makes applicable changes as requested by billable associates/managers and invoices the proformaResponsible for any client invoice backup requirements (i.e. attaching copies of receipts)Responds to ad hoc proforma requests in a timely mannerEffectively secure prompt payment from customers while employing commercial sensitivity, business acumen, and good judgment
