Reporting to the board and the the European Commission on progress. Arranged and held various meetings with EU Member States’ representatives and other stakeholder groups to collect input and build consensus for registry policies.

Led the successful incorporation of the organisation as an independent entity in the UK, as well as managing the recruitment of a small secretariat, ensuring the effective representation of member registries and their positions with media, government representatives and the international Internet community. Managed the collection, analysis and publication of research data on registry practices, as well as planning and facilitating member meetings and workshops around a range of technical, legal and policy matters associated with TLD management. Oversaw the development of marketing and outreach strategies to ensure the effective promotion of the organisation to drive new member acquisition.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

Served directly under the Secretary General, with operational responsibility for managing the daily activities and non-technical staff of the association. Developed and implemented organisational financial and activity plans for presentation to membership for ratification, as well as to external governmental agencies. Created and presented grant proposals for funding from EU agencies for research projects. Led the planning and organisational processes for the successful execution of annual general assemblies for the membership, as well as international academic conferences.
